It is interesting that people use credit cards all day long without really understanding how that affects their credit score. There are a large number of people who do not know how to read their credit report or what a credit score is.

The way you have paid your bills will determine your credit score and that score will be the basis of your credit worthiness.You will see things on your credit report that are really an accounting of how you have used credit in the past.
Your credit report will show creditors a history of how you made your payments as well as open accounts you have now and also who has checked your credit lately.
If you check your credit too often though, it can bring your score down.Do not let anyone check your credit if you do not want them too.
Equifax, Experian, and Transunion are the top three and most widely used credit reporting agencies. You can access your credit report at anytime at one of these places.Sometimes you will find an error in the report. If so, contact the reporting agency as soon as possible to get that corrected.
These little things can can improve your score if you pay attention to it.
